Our resident Permanent Makeup Artist is Hollie Olson. She is a State Licensed Master Esthetician & State Licensed Micropigmentation Specialist which is commonly called Permanent Makeup or Cosmetic Tattooing.
She has over 27 years of professional experience in day spa services having owned her own Health Club and Day Spa. In Permanent Makeup, for the last 24 years, she has performed over 8000 procedures and also worked on-call for 8 years at a plastic surgeon's medical spa for patients requesting her services. Hollie is one of the very few artist in the area who actually attended a full cosmetic tattooing school followed by a paid apprenticeship, NOT just a weekend course.
She will listen to what YOU want and offer her expertise in designing makeup to help make sure you are getting the best design for your face and needs. Her experience in the Makeup Artistry field includes: Runway Shows, TV, Film and 9 years as the Master Makeup Artist for Portland Pinups Photography Studio.
Brows: She offers several styles and will help you choose which is best for you. Powder Brows are the most popular for their soft finished look and very tolerable procedure. She also offers Powder Ombre which is a gradient design, lighter in the front and darker tails. As well as Microblading where he style is called True Hair-stroke which is a more natural "how hairs grow" rather than railroad track looking strokes. Although not everyone is a good candidate for just Microblading. You will talk and design together. High quality numbing products are used to make the procedure comfortable.
Eyeliner: While adding a semi-permanent liner on the upper and/or lower lid can seem scary. It is actually quite tolerable with numbing and your eye is shut the whole time for upper lid, and sometimes cracked open just slightly for lower lid. It is the fastest of all procedures.
Lips: You can choose to just enhance your lip line with a natural color which is fantastic for older lips that no longer have a defined edge. Or a full lip color which is called Blushing. Lips will never be a super dark "just put on your lipstick" look but overall color for a really nice beauty look. Many colors to choose from.
